With over 15 years of experience, Alex is no newbie to the indoor cycling scene. She is also the co-founder of The Chain Reaction Project, a cause-driven travel and adventure-based non-profit. Alex’s music ranges from indie and electro to pop and dance, and she has zero tolerance for moves involving clapping or swinging weights. Off the podium, you can find her napflix & chillin’ with her cat-son Bagel, lost in Google’s blackhole of murder mystery facts, roaming the streets of Singapore with her backpack, spending hours creating random playlists she doesn’t use, and doing other seemingly mundane activities that keep her sane enough to lead killer classes.
Fitness has always been a part of Brandon’s life, having been a competitive rope-skipper and volleyball player in his younger days. Part dreamer, part doer, Brandon took his passion for rhythm cycling to the highest level after leaving the public relations industry. Expect playlists full of pop and indie-pop tunes – from Taylor Swift and Troye Sivan to Lykke Li and Florence + The Machine. If he’s not in the Studio, he’ll likely be at the gym, at home watching reality TV shows, or out in a restaurant with a slice of pizza in hand – yawns, he knows unapologetically.
Dean is a seasoned instructor with years of indoor cycling and HIIT instructing experience under his belt. With the allure of a boutique studio, he’s looking forward to being able to give each rider more attention and getting to know them better. To him, there’s nothing quite like riding hard alongside others and feeling the unspoken camaraderie. Expect a no-nonsense, pure cycling workout – we’ve heard that it never gets easier.
Starting her indoor cycling journey about 8 years ago, Dian fell in love with the music, the moves, and how indoor cycling allows her to party it up without actually staying out! As a Partnerships Manager at a foundation, Dian is also extremely passionate about women’s social entrepreneurship (well, and Modern Family). While she’s a complete sweetheart, you’re bound to get your asses kicked in her class with a playlist filled with old school hip-hop, rap, and R&B classics.
Starting from the young age of ten, Erika has been involved in competitive sports ranging from figure skating and dance to track and field. With a desire to empower others to be better versions of themselves, she continued to spread this passion for movement through teaching Xtend Barre and indoor cycling. Looking at her playlist filled with 90s R&B, LatPop, Grime, and Deep House, her unending energy is bound to leave you with a skip in your step. You’d never guess that she’s also a new Mum!
Muhammad is a geek at heart who seeks adrenaline in the form of leading group exercise classes and rushing to all his appointments. When he’s not at the Studio riding it out, you can find him taking it out on a bag. Expect nothing but killer tunes, fast beats and positive vibes in his class (and a well-dressed instructor decked out in Lululemon). But once you clip off, feel free to approach him to chat about your favourite brunch spots and the latest episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race. His ultimate life goal is to stay home, open a small takeout coffee shop and take care of a pet cat named Lima.
A Physiotherapist by day, Ruth fell in love with indoor cycling over 10 years ago. With the crazy beats, positive vibes, and killer endorphins, she found it was the perfect way for her to unwind at the end of a long day. With a playlist ranging from EDM tracks and top 40 pop hits to classic throwbacks, you can expect nothing less than a dance party during her class (without the hangover of course!).
Birthed in Germany to an American father and Indonesian mother, Tika was lucky enough to grow up around the world and end up back in Singapore where she discovered her love of indoor cycling. After years of daydreaming, Tika finally auditioned and found her fam. Expect long, fast jogs, to the likes of Kendrick and Biggie, and choreography that’s as confused as she is. Switch pushes are her favourite — wait no, split pushes. Outside the studio you can find Tika baking (@bakesbytika for The Carrot Cake & Other Bakes), talking to anyone who will listen (and some who won’t) at Crane, and sleeping for a minimum of 7.5 hours a night. Rapping it up here, catch her in class, goodnight.
Known for witty one-liners and her signature pigtails, Valerie started her indoor cycling journey two years ago. Looking at her tapping back and rocking it on the bike, you’d never guess she’s the youngest member of the team. In between classes, you’ll probably find her playing with the dogs in the studio, snacking on pretty much anything, or lining up for an iced coffee. With some of her favourite artistes including Megan Thee Stallion and Ariana Grande, riders can expect nothing less than a bangin’ fun time in her class!
