Alex

With over 15 years of experience, Alex is no newbie to the indoor cycling scene. She is also the co-founder of The Chain Reaction Project, a cause-driven travel and adventure-based non-profit. Alex’s music ranges from indie and electro to pop and dance, and she has zero tolerance for moves involving clapping or swinging weights. Off the podium, you can find her napflix & chillin’ with her cat-son Bagel, lost in Google’s blackhole of murder mystery facts, roaming the streets of Singapore with her backpack, spending hours creating random playlists she doesn’t use, and doing other seemingly mundane activities that keep her sane enough to lead killer classes.

Brandon

Fitness has always been a part of Brandon’s life, having been a competitive rope-skipper and volleyball player in his younger days. Part dreamer, part doer, Brandon took his passion for rhythm cycling to the next level after working in the public relations industry. Expect playlists full of pop and indie-pop tunes – from Taylor Swift and Avril Lavigne to Lykke Li and Florence + The Machine.

Dean

Dean is a seasoned instructor with years of indoor cycling and HIIT instructing experience under his belt. With the allure of a boutique studio, he’s looking forward to being able to give each rider more attention and getting to know them better. To him, there’s nothing quite like riding hard alongside others and feeling the unspoken camaraderie. Expect a no-nonsense, pure cycling workout – we’ve heard that it never gets easier.

Buck

A fitness buff, Buck is a certified personal trainer and has more than 8 years of experience as a spin and HIIT instructor. Having completed more than 10 IRONMAN and other endurance-related events, Buck is particularly known for his no-nonsense, direct style of instructing. With a greatly diverse music taste, you can expect to ride to EDM, Country, or even J-Pop tracks in his Method classes!

If your idea of a good ride involves building on endurance and pushing past mental limits, Buck’s your guy.

P/S: He has a love affair with Louis Vuitton.

Ian

It’s love at first ride for Ian – he found himself loving how he felt after a good spin class, both inside and out. Ian aims to provide different intensity options for his riders, all while grooving to pop and R&B tracks in the form of subtle tapbacks and pulses. Off the bike, this foodtech, RYT-200h graduate would either be on his yoga mat or somewhere in the studio snacking on his latest finds from a grocery haul.

Ben

Ben stumbled into a spin class more than two years ago, not knowing the ride he was about to embark on. It kicked his butt, but gave him endorphins reminiscent of when he was a competitive national fencer in the U.S. – he was hooked. Out of the studio, Ben works in international education and toils away as a part-time graduate student. You’ll be climbing big hills and sprinting your heart out to an action-packed playlist of pop, EDM and rock – it’ll be breath-taking, literally.

Geoffrey

Outside of his profession as an architect, Geoffrey relishes in the energy of riding strong and hard as one team in our studio. Off the bike and out of the office, Geoffrey spends most of his time unwinding at home, cooking up a storm, and even designing interiors – you may even find his home tour video on YouTube if you looked hard enough!

Lloyd

Lloyd has been working with music all his life — from being a percussionist in a symphonic band and drummer with various live bands, to mixing music for events and dance productions, and even teaching dance classes in heels!

Naturally, music takes the forefront in his classes. He is always on the lookout for fresh new tracks and even mixes his own music for classes! Lloyd aims to deliver immersive classes — peppered with his style of humour.

If you must know: dogs are his weakness, especially dachshunds.

John

Having struggled with his weight for most of his life, John found his fitness bone — and spinning — during a global pandemic, which eventually led to him replacing his daily runs with spin sessions.

Off the bike, John spends his days championing insects in an agri-tech startup. He thrives on meaningful connections in his communities, and finds life-giving moments amidst displaying his culinary prowess, taking long scenic drives, and conducting a choir on Sundays. His classes share a similarly eclectic music selection — from pop to electro swing, with a touch of the unexpectet; but they’re underscored by a simple ethos: good vibes only.

Marianne

Spinning has always been a safe avenue for Marianne to switch off mentally and, very simply, let go. This is especially so after winning the fight against her cancer diagnosis — each 50-minute session in a spin room is an opportunity for her to regain her fitness and build mental resilience.

Today, Marianne has certainly become one of the strongest riders to have walked through the doors of our studio. We couldn’t be prouder of her fitness journey and to have her join our instructing team!

Tika

Birthed in Germany to an American father and Indonesian mother, Tika was lucky enough to grow up around the world and end up back in Singapore where she discovered her love of indoor cycling. After years of daydreaming, Tika finally auditioned and found her fam. Expect long, fast jogs, to the likes of Kendrick and Biggie, and choreography that’s as confused as she is. Switch pushes are her favourite — wait no, split pushes. Outside the studio you can find Tika baking (@bakesbytika for The Carrot Cake & Other Bakes), talking to anyone who will listen (and some who won’t) at Crane, and sleeping for a minimum of 7.5 hours a night. Rapping it up here, catch her in class, goodnight.

Valerie

Known for witty one-liners and her signature pigtails, Valerie started her indoor cycling journey two years ago. Looking at her tapping back and rocking it on the bike, you’d never guess she’s the youngest member of the team. In between classes, you’ll probably find her playing with the dogs in the studio, snacking on pretty much anything, or lining up for an iced coffee. With some of her favourite artistes including Megan Thee Stallion and Ariana Grande, riders can expect nothing less than a bangin’ fun time in her class!
